Some of my favorite smartphone Applications that help to enhance the pics, and to add cool ‘Tumblr-like’ effects to the pics.
It has been a while after I have posted about cool iPhone apps that I use and You might be interested in. Now I have got something else for you here. The list will grow and more posts will appear. Enjoy!
1 – PHOTOSHOP MIX.
I have downloaded eventually the Photoshop App. I actually did not want to till the last minute. All because I have be never had friendly relationships with the Photoshop itself yet and I was scary to use it cause I though I would not understand anything. But it is actually very easy for everyone. It is a super light version of the Photoshop and it is very user friendly. The main purpose why I have started to use it – to create a blurry frame for an instagram pic. You will need to add two same images and then in ‘adjust’ section, reduce clarity of the image. Then we shrink the main pic and adjust it to the square in a middle of the first blurry image. That’s it – you can crop it and post on your instagram. There is also a next App (Squaready), which is doing it but effect is too blurry and I do not like it that much.
You can also easily cut out the pic and add it to the other image.

a drawback – looks like it’s only for Apple still.
2 – SQUAREADY.
This is the easier way to add a blurry frame automatically. I personally do not like the effect cause it’s too blurry for me and I prefer Photosop Mix. Also you can just use it to adjust your pic for thee instagram size.
3 – MEXTURES.
– ENG –
Awesome application with sets of great unusual filters. If you want more than VSCO – you need to try Mextures. Here you can create layers and add filters on top of the other ones. Quite fun and the results are very unique usually.
4 – PHOTO CANDY.
If you seen cool figures on someones pic – such a triangles or other geometric shapes, it was photo candy.
5 – SNAPSEED (new version).
before and after:
In 99% I retouch a bit here first of all and after I open a pic in the other apps. I actually liked more the old interface. So trying to get use to the new one. Discovered for myself a useful function ‘transform’.
