Mount Cooroora

Mount Cooroora

Hi everyone, today I will take you to climb Mount Cooroora with me! It is located around Noosa Area, in Pomona village. Mount Cooroora is one of the most famous climbing tracks around Sunshine coast known for the King of the Mountain 500 meters annual climb race. The climb is 500 meters and it is fairly difficult I would say for those who never climbs. Apart from the beginning of the track, it is quite steep pretty much all the way up or about 80% of it. There are stairs and metal chains, which is very helpful. If you […]

Places to see close to Noosa

Pomona

Exploring Queensland. I have recently moved to our favourite area in Australia – Noosa in Queensland, Sunshine State. We love exploring what’s around here and we have recently found a little quirky village called Pomona, which I would recommend you to visit if you are around Noosa. Pomona is located within about 20 minutes driving from Noosa, there is plenty of parking, so you can easily drive there. It is a nice place to have a little stroll around, have a brekky or lunch, go to a silent Cinema, visit a museum and to have a nice walk around […]

WA Hinterland Getaway

Welcome to the Western Australia Hinterland. Nannup is an absolute gateway, a quiet and relaxed place in the middle of the forest on top of the hill. We went to Margaret River for surfing and drove inland to see this hidden retreat. To be honest, we did not expect this kind of picture in the forest. The hills here looks somewhat similar to the Tuscany hills and the views are is just mesmerizing. So if you wish to escape from the crowds, meditate and enjoy the fresh forest air, check Nannup Hideaway Spa & Cottages. They also have gift vouchers, so […]

Denmark & Albany, Western Australia

Denmark & Albany Western Australia – Best things to do and to see – This was our very first adventure of 2018 :) We drove 4.5 hours from Perth to stay around Albany and Denmark and explore South of Western Australia. The initial idea was going to Esperance, however, Esperance was a little too far away – about 8 hours drive from Perth. Ideally, you need some time for travel there and enjoy it’s best, perhaps a minimum of a week or something. So we have decided to take 3 nights and 4 days and see something in between and […]
