Tourists from all over the word have explored Bangkok million times and it looks like this city has nothing to hide. All the places are described by thousands of people online, but I feel like we have found something less popular for the crowd.
The most unforgettable experiences from the last trip to Bangkok were visiting What Hong Thong Temple and our stay at Maduzi Hotel.
Our time at Maduzi was very relaxing and enjoyable. It is a small size hotel with only 4o rooms, where you always feel welcomed and very special. It feels like home in the room with wooden floors, decent size vanity table, coffee machine, free mini bar and jacuzzi.
You know you do not usually have that cozy and warm feeling in the large size hotels.
My absolute favorite about our room was a super large size bed – 220×220 with silky super soft bedsheets.
The other highlights are definitely flexible check in and check out time. This automatically illuminates so many issues, like begging to extend your room or pay for a whole night if you only extend your stay for a few hours (This always happens to us at Lotte Hotel Korea).
Breakfasts till 2.30 PM is an absolute relief, which reduces your stress level in the morning to zero – no need to hurry! (How many times have you been late for a hotel breakfast?).
A special menu breakfast is quite different from any other hotel breakfasts. At Maduzi you can order specially designed breakky from the menu, which also makes you feel special and you won’t need to go around with a plate. They will kindly serve you everything you like.
The only one drawback for me was an absence of a swimming pool at this hotel. But, let’s face it – how many times do you go to the hotel when you travel and never go swimming to the pool ? :) If you do not really need a pool and would appreciate special private ambiance, fine materials and sophisticated interiors – you will definitely love your stay at Maduzi hotel.
It is not compared to any other hotels I have been before. From my experience perhaps it is somehow similar to a fine and well-managed luxury private villa experience in Bali. Maduzi is far more than a hotel.
