This location is absolutely epic, picturesque and romantic. It may be also dangerous, so make sure to be extremely careful walking these stairs and watch every step you make.

MCA Cafe

MCA (Museum of Contemporary art) in Sydney is one of my favourite things to do in the city! You can visit one of their free exhibitions and take your significant half for a date here for one of the paid exhibitions if you like. Go upstairs to enjoy the rooftop cafe with the best views in Sydney!

Try to avoid the pick lunch and dinner hours if you are looking for a quiet and the most romantic atmosphere.

Choose a table next to the window to take some great photos.

Sydney Botanic Garden

It's definitely beautiful wedding photos location

as well as a nice place to take a stroll, go on a date, relax or take many photos!

Gorgeous water and Sydney Bridge views, stunning flower walls and flower arches, vintage stairs sets are just a few of many backdrops and reasons to visit this wonderful place. Moreover, it is a great place to make a surprise proposal.

Sydney State Library

It's a non-cliche location

While everyone goes to Bondi Beach and Opera House to take their lifestyle, couples, and wedding shootings, I would recommend you go check the gorgeous Sydney Library. It is a historical site and a working library, it is also an incredibly beautiful place to photograph.

La Perouse

This location has it all!

There are a beautiful beach, cliffs, castles, unreal constructions, stunning views and even a restaurant. It is quite popular for wedding photoshoots and if you take lifestyle, fashion or just a casual Instagram post - you will be able creating lots of content here.

There is a large choice of things to photograph and to have as your background. It is also a beautiful place to visit while you are in Sydney. La Perouse was one of my favourite places there.

What do you think of these locations? I did not Mention Opera House just because it is too obvious and I wanted to give you some other ideas and a couple of non-cliche places, that I did not find in any other lists.

If you are looking for a romantic place in Sydney to propose, all these places will be a great fit for it!
