Where to stay in Bansko ?
This is where we lived in Bansko for 2 weeks of our holidays. I often find apartments quite a very good alternative to a hotel. There is a small kitchen and sometimes a washing machine, microwave, big fridge, your own living room and everything for a personal comfort – just like home. We have chosen this place, as far as it was fairly close to the slopes – only 15 minutes walk and you are right on the slope. There is a car park, so you can park your car or a rental car (read my blog post here about where is better to rent a car in Bansko).
What I particularly loved about it:
I loved a very nice and cozy architecture style with wood and natural materials. The best things for me here were – location (it is still 15 minutes walk, but only a couple of minutes drive to the slope), it is very close to everything and at the same time it is quiet, while main streets get quite crowded.
So, there is a car park (complimentary), a swimming pool and Jacuzzi. Also there is a kids room with lots of entertainment for the kids and with someone who is looking after them.
There is also a bar and a restaurant in the hotel area.
We’ve rented the skiing and snowboarding equipment in the rental of the hotel for a reasonable price, they have also maintained our own equipment for a very law price.
Hotel provides free transfer to the ski slope every 15 minutes with a long lunch break in the middle of the day (check the bus schedule next to the ski rental).
This is a kind of apartment – very nice, clean, cozy and bright. There is a kitchen, all the house keeping necessities, like cutleries, dishes, bed sheets etc. There is also TV and wifi.
